About the Owner

Matthias is a physiotherapist who completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.

He began his career at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph, where he worked in Inpatient Rehab and later in Complex Medical and Transitional Care. During this time, he developed a passion for helping older adults and individuals with neurological conditions regain mobility, confidence, and independence.

Recognizing the gap in at-home physiotherapy in the community for this population, Matthias founded MP At-Home Physiotherapy.

In addition to his hospital experience, he has worked in private practice treating musculoskeletal conditions such as joint pain, injuries, and post-surgical recovery. 

Matthias takes a client-centred, empathetic approach to care, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to his clients’ needs, comfort, and personal goals.
